The Guild Council is run by our diverse group of council members to ensure all Murdoch students have a voice! Council members sit on university boards, panels, committees, groups and working parties.
Our council members are elected by the student body every year to represent students to the university and ensure that students are at the forefront of university decision-making.

Guild Executives
President - Tshering Gyeltshen
Tshering is our 49th Guild President and previously served as the Education Vice President in 2024. He represents the student body both within the University and ensures students are at the forefront of Murdoch University’s decision-making. He sits within the Senate to ensure that the overall direction and strategic management of the university align with students’ interests.
