Guild Diary 2024

Have your ad seen by new and returning students in your 2024 Guild diary. We print 4000 Guild diaries every year to give away to student Guild members. Our Guild diaries are the preferred student diary as it contains academic dates and valuable on-campus information.

The Guild diary comes with plenty of internal ad space, including:

Showbag Advertising 2024

Have your product sample, merch or voucher seen by over 2,000 students! Murdoch Guild gives out showbags to new and returning students at the start of every semester. Next year, we will be giving out 1,000 showbags to new and returning students at the start of each semester and give out remaining items to students at our events, outlets and more!

We want to partner with organisations that align with our values of enriching student life. Which is why we accept showbag advertising for free! This means that we will receive, pack, store and distribute your items at no cost.

If you would like category exclusivity in our showbags (i.e. to be the only drink or sweets brand available), you can secure that for a low cost of $200 + GST.

GNews (Fortnightly Newsletter)

Advertise in our fortnightly newsletter to reach over 16,000 of our newsletter subscribers! Target your ad to Murdoch University students, alumni and staff.

Our newsletters are sent out every Wednesday fortnight. Graphics submitted must be 564 x 250px. Our newsletter average open rate is 43%.

Sem 1 ’24 –  7 February, 21 February (Peak*), 6 March (Peak), 20 March, 3 April, 17 April, 1 May, 15 May, 29 May

Sem 2 ’24 – 10 July, 24 July (Peak), 7 August (Peak), 21 August, 4 September, 18 September, 2 October, 16 October, 30 October

*Peak dates noted fall within the first few weeks of semester and usually see the highest student engagement in the year.

Poster Display

Have your poster in our locked noticeboard locations! Your posters will be displayed on high traffic areas of the university including walkways surrounding the library (the centre of campus), pathways from bus stops and more. Refer to the graphic below for noticeboard locations. 

We will print 16 copies of your poster in A3 (Colour) and put them up for 4 weeks in noticeboards around campus to be seen by students, staff and contractors.

Poster Advertising (Peak*) – $180 excl. GST

Poster Advertising (Non-Peak) – $120 excl. GST

*Poster advertising in February, March, July and August in 2024 are considered within peak periods where we expect the highest foot traffic on campus.

Partner Discounts

One of the best ways to advertise to our university students is to offer a student discount. 

Through our WA Guild Discount Partner Program, you can promote your business to more than 90,000 students studying at all major WA universities on campus and online.

We have a wide range of local and international businesses who advertise with us through Partner Discounts. Check out our list of discounts here.

How It Works

Step 1: Understand that when you intend to submit a discount to Murdoch Guild, you are agreeing to share that discounts with students across all major WA university guilds. This includes UWA Guild, Curtin Guild and ECU Guild.

Step 2: Submit your discount to the WA Guild Discount Partner Program.

Step 3: Once we’ve received your application, all Guilds will be informed of the new discount and you will have discount added to Guild websites (Murdoch, Curtin, UWA and ECU).

Host A Giveaway

Collaborate with us to host an Instagram giveaway for Murdoch University students!

Unlike other paid advertising options, you can collaborate to host a giveaway for our students for free! Not only that, we will also design the giveaway Instagram graphic for you.
