Murdoch Agricultural Science Student Association (MASSA) is dedicated to help, support, educate and empower its members studying within the agricultural space at Murdoch University. MU Basketball club is focused on students coming together with the same interest in basketball. We have social sessions, as well as the opportunity to represent the university at a national level. Murdoch University Cheerleaders is a group of mixed students who compete at local and interstate events against other Universities. Murdoch University Cheerleaders encourage friendships through team building and provide the basic skills needed for Cheerleading. Murdoch Esports and Games marks the historic merge between clubs Murdoch Esports and Murdoch Gaming Society. Murdoch Esports and Games is the biggest club at Murdoch University with over 300 registered members yearly. The club’s community is welcoming to anyone and everyone, we have each other’s back no matter the console or game choice. The club caters to both competitive and social players. We run both tournaments and casual events throughout the semesters. Casual events would include; tabletop events, weekly game nights, weekly meetups, movie watch parties and many more.
The Murdoch Vikings Esports Teams represent Murdoch University in 8 different games: League of Legends, Halo Infinite, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Rainbow 6 Siege, Rocket League, Valorant, Apex Legends and DOTA 2. They are the highest calibre of players at the university, who represent us on the national esports scene. We are always looking for the newest talent in these games, and to help improve those players through facilitating as much practice as possible. Every team is always accepting new applications, and players who apply will be informed if they make the team!

MISA exists to act as the voice of all international students at Murdoch. The Committee Members work tirelessly to ensure that your interests are adequately represented at the university. This can include ensuring that you are settling and adjusting well in Perth but also liaising with parties on and off campus to ensure that the quality of education you receive and pay good money for is of a high standard.

Murdoch Malaysian Association (MMA) Our MMA is established to unite Murdoch Malaysians at Murdoch University and to foster cultural ties between

Murdoch Medieval Society is a society of people interested in the history of Europe and the world through the Ancient, Viking and Middle Ages. We focus a lot on combat and craftsmanship of different cultural groups (Nordic, Rus, Frankish, Saxon, Middle Eastern, native American, Asian and East Asian cultures). We have group and individual projects for those who like craftsmanship, art or even cooking, as well as we use well balanced protective gear and a variety of blunt polymer and wooden weapons in sparring sessions where we together learn techniques of different weapon based historical martial arts of the world. Our club welcomes all new members!
Murdoch Psychology Society is a student-run organisation that exists to serve the best interests of the

The Murdoch Queer Collective (MQC) is a welcoming community for queer and LGBTQIA+ identifying folk to meet each other and have fun. Murdoch Ultimate Club (MUC) is a social, sporting and recreational club based here at Murdoch University, open to the public but with a number of student only programs (including Uni Nationals!) interested in playing the dynamic game of Ultimate!
MUC welcomes players of all levels from absolute beginners to seasoned, avid players. MUC has a strong emphasis on being beginner friendly, socially welcoming, and enjoying the fun game of Ultimate.

MUD is a non-profit club catering to students, staff and associates of Murdoch University. Membership and gear loan is set at highly competitive rates.
The club has been in existence since 1979, and during that period the club has enjoyed numerous trips away, local diving, involvement in community events such as "Clean UP Australia" and many social events.
In 2002, the club became affiliated with the Underwater Explorer's Club of Western Australia (UEC). The UEC conducts boat dives most weekends, giving MUD members the opportunity to join in individually or as a group. Either way, the UEC will take care of you and make sure you enjoy your day out.

Murdoch University Roots and Shoots is a non-for-profit university club consisting of volunteer Murdoch students! The purpose of this club is to work within the Jane Goodall Institute Australia’s Roots & Shoots program, to work as a team to identify and act on the issues within the community. As a club, we work to uphold Jane Goodall's message of hope for the Earth and the protection of Animals, People and the Environment (APE)
The Murdoch University Wildlife Association is dedicated to providing events and activities that provide
opportunities for Murdoch University students to gain experience, skills, knowledge, and enthusiasm for
wildlife medicine, health, conservation, rehabilitation, and research. We aim to provide experiences that
complement and go beyond the standard academic curriculum, from wildlife handling and first aid
workshops to exposure to current research and careers incorporating conservation and wildlife health. We
also strive to create an active community of Murdoch University students who share a similar passion for
wildlife. This community will allow students to meet new people, make new friends, and network with other
future professionals of the wildlife industry. MUWA was founded over 30 years ago and has organized,
funded, and run many successful workshops, seminars, and trips such as beach clean up days, trips to
Penguin Island, wildlife necropsies and many more. Over the years we have maintained a considerable
member number and consistently seen active engagement in club activities, this indicates the student interest
in our club. Though as a special interest club within the Veterinary and Life Sciences school, our members
have consisted predominantly of Murdoch students enrolled in the Veterinary Medicine degree. This year we
hope to expand our reach and encourage students from all disciplines to participate in our club.
Founded in 2018, Murdoch University Volleyball Club has been striving to produce the best performance
from each team member. From coaching them on the ins and outs of the sport to honing their athletic
skills, we’re proud to teach not only the love of the game but also to impart the ideals of good
sportsmanship, teamwork and loyalty.
The Murdoch Writers Society (MWS) is a student run society that provides support for aspiring writers and creatives here at Murdoch.
Every teaching week we host workshops for students to share their work and receive feedback, as well as discuss various topics related to writing. We're not wedded to any particular degree path, we just want to celebrate creativity and passion. If you love writing and the arts in general, we’d love to see you!

We are a group of inter-denominational christians who are overseas studying, but of course we welcome locals to join us too 🙂 Overseas Christian Fellowship (OCF) is a student-led, student-run parachurch organisation that spans the different states and universities of Australia, apart from the NT. OCF Murdoch is just one of the many centres. We meet up weekly for worship, bible study and prayer. The Singapore Link (TSL) is a Singapore Student Association at Murdoch University in Perth, Australia - providing friendship and mutual support— making university life at Murdoch easier. We are not a Singaporeans only club as we aim to spread awareness of Singapore’s multicultural identity and culture to all nationalities.
The Women in STEM Society is an emerging society that aims to encourage connection and networking among females studying a STEM discipline at Murdoch University.
WIS has a strong emphasis on networking and togetherness between members, and activities include casual meetups and hangouts, discussions, casual and professional networking opportunities, job advertisements and a whole lot of encouragement and support!
We believe societies like this and the many similar women-focussed, diverse associations out there are a big step in the right direction to increasing the popularity of a career in STEM for young females, while at the same time being an advocacy for connection, collaboration and togetherness.
