The EDI team (based on the South Street Campus) provides strategic leadership, support, and advice across the university to embed impactful, best-practice equity, diversity, and inclusion principles across all areas. EDI Student Partners work closely with EDI Project Coordinators to design and implement initiatives that support the objectives of Murdoch’s EDI Strategy. Student Assist are looking for more peer tutors to join their network! Murdoch Guild created Peer Tutoring so that students can receive tutoring from others who have previously done the same unit or are in the same course of study.
Students who have received a Distinction or High Distinction in units in their study are able to register as peer tutors.
Once you have signed up to be a peer tutor a Student Assist Officer will be in touch. If they have found a tutoring match for you, they will share your contact details with each other to start arranging tutoring time and location. It is the student’s responsibility to arrange payment and record work covered.
