About Murdoch Guild

Murdoch Guild of Students is a not-for-profit organisation that serves, advocates for, and represents Murdoch students. All Murdoch students are automatically members of the Guild, and receive free access to Student Assist services, discounts, volunteering opportunities, clubs, giveaways and more!

Who are we?

Our organisation exists for students, by students. We are made up of student council representatives who are newly-elected every year, and a team of professional staff.

What we do

Our Guild council is the vessel for student voice. They sit on university boards, committees, and panels to make sure that your concerns are at the forefront of university decision-making.

The Student Assist team is always here to lend a helping hand. Whether you need financial, academic or welfare assistance, they are here for you.

We also facilitate the registration of Clubs and Societies. Check out what Guild Clubs are available for you to join!

We want to ensure your university experience is fun. We regularly host markets, free events, and give away freebies to help you make memories on campus.

Students are given the opportunity to volunteer anywhere during their time studying and receive transcript recognition. Not only that, but we also have volunteering opportunities on campus and run leadership and mentoring programs.

Having a not-for-profit run The Tav, Café Kadj, V-Cart and Secondhand Bookshop means that we keep affordability and accessibility as a priority.
