It’s important to market your club well so that many students know who you are, what you’re about, and all the fun stuff you get up to!
Club Branding
It’s important to establish a club branding that correctly reflects who you’re made up of, what you do, and your club culture.
Creating A Club Logo
Club logos should be simple, clean and recognisable. Not sure where to start? Check out Canva’s guide to get some helpful tips and tricks.
Tone of Voice
Is your club more professional or social? Use language that reflects the nature of your club. Don’t be afraid to use casual slang or professional lingo in your social media messaging.
Club Engagement and Communication
Your club must establish a communication channel with your members so that they stay engaged and up to date with all club activities. Some examples of what you could do include:
- Encouraging all members to follow your social media pages
- Creating a Club Instagram group chat or Facebook group with all members
- Updating your members of new events and developments through email or SMS on QPay
Guild Branding
Please include the Murdoch Guild logo in all event, signage and other promotional materials that have been sponsored by the Guild or obtained through Guild Funding. Please do not distort the logo, change the colours, change the layout of the logo or change the font of the logo.
Guild Marketing Support
Guild-affiliated clubs get access to a range of marketing services.
Guild Gossip
Have your event included in our fortnightly e-newsletter – the Guild Gossip! This e-newsletter goes out to 30,000+ student, staff, and alumni emails. Simply email our Clubs Officers your event information to have it included in the upcoming e-newsletter.
