There are a number of free and low cost legal advice services in the area. Get the right advice and make sure you know your rights as an employee, an individual and a tenant.
Welfare Rights & Advocacy Service
They can provide independent advice, information, referral and ongoing casework assistance including representation and advocacy if you have a:
- Centrelink issue;
- Family Assistance Office issue;
- Residential Tenancy issue (including private and public housing)**; or
- Social Security Prosecution issue.
