Sales Training

This program is a highly interactive and takes a hands-on approach to learning and practicing the key employability skills required in the workplace. Participants will undertake a number of integrated activities in a fun and supportive environment that will help them negotiate the big bad world of workplace culture and learn what it takes to close a sale. Each participant will receive materials of the workshop content and a Statement of Attendance for their resume.

Cost: $49 Murdoch Guild Members*/ $99 Non-Members

Location: Each session will be held in a classroom (see below) at 90 South St, Murdoch WA 6150

Duration: 3 hours

Learning Outcomes: The course will cover areas relevant for effectively working within a sales role in WA. You can expect to learn how to-

  • Greet constructively & create warmth and openness
  • Develop trust and rapport
  • Use active listening techniques
  • Control the sale and lead the customer to becoming a buyer
  • Understand and use sales psychology
  • Identify cross selling and upselling opportunities
  • Close the sale without being pushy
