Murdoch Guild of Students is a not-for-profit organisation that serves, advocates for, and represents Murdoch students. All Murdoch students who pay SSAF are automatically Guild members who get access to free student events, discounts, support services, student representation and more!
Find Representation
Student representation by students, for students. The Guild Council is run by our diverse group of elected council members to ensure all Murdoch students have a voice. Council members sit on university boards, panels, committees, groups and working parties to ensure that students are at the forefront of all decision making.

With over 40 clubs and societies, there’s a wide range of social and career-based events being held year round on campus. All clubs receive funding and support from the Guild so if you have an idea for a new club, we can help you get started.

Student Assist provides academic, financial and welfare support for all Murdoch students. This means that they are your go-to contact if you are having trouble finding accommodation, want to ask for assessment re-mark, want to appeal against academic misconduct need emergency financial relief and more. Our Student Assist team also offer free airport pick-ups for international students coming to Perth for the first time.

The Guild runs 4 cafes across the South Street and Mandurah campus, plus our Tavern – with student discounts and deals on coffees, food and other drink. We also have affordable drink vending machines all around our South Street campus.

All Guild members get access to exclusive student discounts for local and online retailers, food, activities and services. This means that you’ll get to utilise student discounts on and off campus!
